“A good” Asian woman w/ juinn tan

What does it mean to be "a good" Asian woman? We take this topic head-on with an intimate, real and raw conversation with Juinn Tan.

Juinn is a divorced, thirty-something, modern Asian woman living in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She is a self-proclaimed, "no bullshit marketer, professional shit shield and observer of people." She is also in the middle of uncovering what it means to live an authentic life without forsaking her entire identity as an Asian woman.

We talk honestly about deciding to get divorced during the 2020 pandemic, not wanting to bring shame to her family, and the gripping fear that she may be disowned.

This is a wholly new look at having it all on the Fuck "IT ALL" podcast, yet despite being a world away, Juinn and I bond over a shared love of Beyonce, loving our families but loving ourselves more, and never letting anyone else write your story.

She is an FIA sister, and I can't wait until this pandemic is over, and we get to meet in person.
